Consistent with our church-centered mission, a primary source of support comes from congregational giving. Secondarily, we understand a part of our mission to be the stewardship and redirection of society’s wealth in the service of God’s just and compassionate purposes. Toward this end, we have partnership with foundations and other philanthropic entities that share a common concern for San Francisco’s vulnerable communities. Some grantors, however, possess criteria or requirements that are incompatible with our faith-based approach.
