About Us
Grace Urban Ministries (GUM), Inc. is a 501©3 nonprofit corporation that works in partnership with the local congregation to serve among San Francisco’s vulnerable, particularly the children, youth, and families that face significant social and economic adversity. Such ministries include academic tutoring, adult education, family support services, recreation, community health services, civic engagement, advocacy, and other activities that address and engage the complex challenges that face those living in the San Francisco Bay Area. GUM also provides workshops, forums, and technical assistance for congregations and nonprofits engaged in like-minded endeavors.
